Burger King Signs Long Term Agreement with Iberdrola for 1,900 GWh of Renewable Electricity
  • Iberdrola España and Burger King signed a new long-term PPA for 34 MW of photovoltaic capacity, bringing the partnership’s total to 109 MW to serve the annual demand of more than 900 restaurants.
  • The agreement will supply 1,900 GWh of renewable electricity over the duration of the contract, supporting Burger King’s energy security and transition to renewables.
  • The collaboration also advances electrification at the restaurant level, including 348 EV charging points across 173 Spanish locations installed under a 2021 partnership with BP Pulse.
