- Positions Canada as a leader in carbon removal commercialization and climate tech innovation.
Deep Sky, a Montreal-based carbon removal project developer, has achieved a breakthrough in North America: the first underground CO₂ storage via Direct Air Capture (DAC). The milestone was reached at Deep Sky Alpha, Canada’s carbon removal commercialization hub in Innisfail, Alberta, using technology from Quebec-based Skyrenu.
