Global management consultancy Kearney has appointed Angela Hultberg to the newly created role of Global Head of Sustainability, with responsibility for supporting clients to transition to sustainable business practices.
Hultberg takes on her new role after 4 years at Kearney, joining the firm in 2022, and most recently serving as Global Sustainability Director, supporting clients in the automotive, consumer and retail, and transportation industries on their sustainability journeys. She also co-authored Kearney’s book, The Sustainability Chessboard, providing company’s with step-by-step approaches and strategies to approach sustainability.
Prior to joining Kearney, Hultberg worked for more than 8 years at IKEA, serving in a series of sustainability-focused roles, including as Head of Sustainable Mobility, leading the company’s goal to achieve zero-emission home deliveries.
Mark founded ESG Today following a 20 year career in investment management and research. Prior to founding ESG Today, Mark worked at Delaney Capital Management (DCM) in Toronto, Canada, most recently as the firm’s head of U.S. equities. While at DCM, Mark was part of the firm’s ESG team, responsible for evaluating and tracking the sustainability factors impacting portfolio companies, and assessing the suitability of companies for portfolio inclusion. Mark also spent several years in the sell-side research industry, covering the technology and services sectors. Mark holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York, a BBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, and is a CFA charterholder.
